A Pathway

Born in Portugal with German heritage, I have, since an early age, felt a profound pull to understand the mysteries of the human psyche and the inner pathways of feeling. This inner impulse became the guiding thread of my life, leading me into a path of self-knowledge that is intimately woven into my clinical practice.
I completed my degree in Psychology at the University of Lisbon and expanded my vision beyond the classical approach, integrating different branches of contemporary psychology. My primary orientation is Analytical Psychology, developed by Carl Gustav Jung — the central axis of my clinical work and the epistemological foundation of my symbolic practice.
Over the last decade, I have deepened my study of Jungian psychology not only in academic settings, but also as an experiential and lived process. From this matrix, I now integrate—whenever necessary—contributions from transpersonal psychology, pre- and perinatal psychology, somatic release approaches, and trauma therapy, developing a practice that recognises the interdependence between body, psyche, and symbolic imagination.
Currently, I develop Jungian therapy in articulation with jungian art-based processes, understanding creative expression as a mediating vehicle between the conscious and the unconscious, and as a support for active imagination, both online and in person.
My work is grounded in the conviction that attentive listening to the unconscious and its images can create a secure therapeutic space, where symbol becomes an agent of transformation, integration, and renewal.

"At the very point of vulnerability is where the surrender takes place – that is where the god enters. God comes through the wound."
Marion Woodman

A Vision
I am moved by a profound passion for the complexity of the human being — in its multiple layers, experiences, and paradoxes — and by the essence that unites us as Humanity.
I believe in a conscious existence, rooted in the symbolic body, where matter and spirit interweave themselves into a living experience.
I see the inner process as a sacred symbolic act, sustained by a space-temple that must be protected, nourished, and accompanied.
It is within this process of becoming — of individuation — that it becomes possible to integrate the different quadrants of psychic life and to create a bridge between the inner world and the higher dimension of consciousness, one that is full of meaning.
A Commitment
I believe that every individual carries an Inner Gold —
a core of potential and meaning that, through the circumstances of life, may have become distant or forgotten.
My commitment is to accompany the analytic process as a path of psychic alchemy, fostering deep listening, integration, and the transformation of the different layers that coexist within the being.
It is an invitation to remember this inner flame and to reconnect with the wholeness that inhabits us — the living center from which consciousness emerges.

Influences
My work is grounded in the writings of Carl Gustav Jung, the theoretical matrix that sustains the understanding of the psyche as a living symbolic reality.
Among the authors and mentors who most deeply influence my practice, I highlight: Marie-Louise von Franz, Marion Woodman, James Hillman, Robert Johnson, Edward Edinger, Nora Swan-Foster, and Theodor Abt, whose reflections on the imaginal, the image, the symbol, and the alchemical creative act have widened the horizons of Jungian psychology.
From the clinical and somatic field, I find affinities with Gabor Maté, Bessel van der Kolk, William Emerson, David Chamberlain, and Myrna Martin, whose work explores the intersections between body and unconscious processes, including pre and perinatal dimensions.
The confluence of these paths informs my vision of therapy as a symbolic and alchemical process, in which the dialogue between art, theory, and inner experience leads to psychic transformation and integration.
